Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the TradeMyPlate platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and all applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

Description of Services

TradeMyPlate is an online marketplace platform that exclusively facilitates connections between buyers and sellers of car number plates in Dubai. We are NOT a party to any transaction and operate solely as an intermediary service provider. We provide the following services:

• Listing of number plates for sale
• Facilitating connections between buyers and sellers
• Optional plate verification services
• Secure messaging system
• Marketplace tools and features

Marketplace Role and Limitations

TradeMyPlate operates exclusively as a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. We want to make it absolutely clear that:

• We are NOT a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers
• We do NOT handle, facilitate, or process any payments between users
• We do NOT take possession of any number plates
• We do NOT guarantee the completion of any transaction
• We do NOT act as an agent, broker, or representative of any buyer or seller
• All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers at their own risk

User Responsibilities

As a user of the TradeMyPlate platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when listing number plates
• Verify your legal ownership of any number plate before listing
• Comply with all UAE and Dubai laws regarding number plate transfers
• Conduct your own due diligence before any transaction
• Not engage in fraudulent or misleading activities
• Verify the authenticity and legality of all listings independently
• Take full responsibility for all transactions you engage in

Verification Process and Disclaimer

While we may offer optional verification services for certain listings, users must understand the following:

• Verification does not guarantee authenticity or prevent fraud
• Users must conduct their own independent verification
• We reserve the right to verify listings but are not obligated to do so
• Verification may require submission of documentation
• Verification status can be revoked at any time
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on our platform:

• Web scraping, crawling, or automated data extraction of any kind
• Using bots, spiders, or automated tools to access the platform
• Copying, reproducing, or distributing platform content without permission
• Engaging in fraudulent activities or misrepresentation
• Listing plates you do not own or have authority to sell
• Circumventing security features or access controls
• Attempting to manipulate prices or engage in market manipulation
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
• Violating any UAE or Dubai laws or regulations
• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the TradeMyPlate platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is protected by intellectual property laws and belongs to TradeMyPlate or its licensors. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Data Usage and Scraping Prohibition

All data on TradeMyPlate is proprietary and protected. Users are explicitly prohibited from:

• Scraping, crawling, or harvesting any data from the platform
• Using automated tools to extract listings, prices, or user information
• Creating derivative databases from our content
• Republishing our data on other platforms without written permission
• Using our data for training AI/ML models
• Systematic downloading or copying of platform content

Fees and Payments

Listing number plates on our platform is currently free. However, we reserve the right to introduce fees for certain services in the future with prior notice. Any financial transactions between buyers and sellers are conducted directly between the parties and are entirely their responsibility. TradeMyPlate does not process, handle, or facilitate any payments.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, TradeMyPlate disclaims all liability for:

• Any fraud, misrepresentation, or illegal activity by users
• Financial losses incurred in any transaction, regardless of verification status
• The authenticity, quality, or legality of any listed number plate
• Failed transactions or disputes between buyers and sellers
• Inaccurate listings or user-provided information
• Unauthorized access to user accounts
• Platform downtime, errors, or technical issues
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities

Fraud and Loss Disclaimer

TradeMyPlate is not responsible for any fraud, scams, misrepresentation, or financial losses that occur through the use of our platform, even if:

• A listing was marked as 'verified'
• A seller had a high rating or positive reviews
• The transaction was initiated through our messaging system
• You followed our recommended guidelines
• You reported suspicious activity to us

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from transactions are solely between the buyer and seller. TradeMyPlate is not a party to such disputes and has no obligation to mediate or resolve them. However, we may provide a platform for communication. Users are encouraged to resolve disputes amicably or through appropriate legal channels in Dubai, UAE.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these terms or use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

Legal Compliance

TradeMyPlate operates in compliance with all applicable UAE and Dubai laws and regulations. Users must ensure their activities on the platform comply with:

• UAE Federal Law No. 5 of 2012 on Combating Cybercrimes
• UAE Federal Law No. 3 of 2003 on E-Transactions and E-Commerce
• Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) regulations
• UAE Consumer Protection regulations
• All applicable data protection and privacy laws

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TradeMyPlate, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of third parties.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate any user account that violates these terms, engages in prohibited activities, or for any reason at our sole discretion without prior notice or liability. Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting our support team. Termination does not relieve users of obligations incurred prior to termination.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time at our sole discretion. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under UAE law, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
